Every moment counts when the emergency phone rings at Life Flight. Each call-out is different and important - it may be to save a car accident victim, to rescue a stricken diver, or to fly a premature baby to urgent medical care.

A team effort is required to make emergency flights possible 24/7 and everyone working for Life Flight plays a part in achieving the overall mission: To save lives.

Life Flight is a charitable organisation that holds a special place in the hearts and minds of the community. Operations include the Wellington-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter and a nationwide Air Ambulance Plane service.

We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate or junior marketer to join our Marketing and Fundraising Team in Rongotai, Wellington.

This role is central to the success of the Marketing and Fundraising Team, which promotes Life Flight and raises funds to ensure lives can continue to be saved.

The key requirements of this role are to coordinate Life Flight’s presence in community events, manage events such as the high-profile Westpac Chopper Appeal, produce content for marketing collateral, process donations, and provide customer service to our many wonderful supporters.

To be successful in this role you will have excellent customer service skills, computer skills, and written and verbal communication skills. 

You will also be willing and enthusiastic to assist in the myriad of tasks that arise when working within the not-for-profit sector.

An outgoing and proactive person will thrive while gaining valuable marketing, fundraising and events expertise. Training and development opportunities will be provided
