Assistant Human Resource Manager

We’re seeking a new team member to contribute to our fantastic culture and support our extensive and multicultural team.


We operate five packhouses and 35 coolstores for kiwifruit, avocados and feijoas on our 20ha site in Te Puke. For us, packing and storing fruit is personal. With 180 permanent staff, we welcome up to 1,600 seasonal staff from 45 different nationalities during kiwifruit harvest season.


We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking for a challenge to join our team. You will take a significant role in the ongoing management, development and enhancement of Human Resource systems and initiatives, and the training and development of our teams. This is a key role which requires an experienced, energetic, people person who will fit in with the culture of our company.

 

You’ll have:
A relevant Human Resource or similar qualification,and extensive knowledge of legislation, guidance and standards
A minimum of three years HR or similar experience
Exceptional leadership qualities
Excellent communication skills with proven experience producing procedures and policies
A passion for people and supporting them in their roles and great coaching abilities.

You’ll be:
Keen and adaptable to work in our fast-paced, high-volume environment
A great team player
Flexible with days and hours of work during our peak harvest season.
