About the business and the role

We are looking for someone creative with a sharp eye for detail, and passionate about design. We are an Auckland based Interior Design and Home Staging business.

Sojo Design Limited has been operating in the greater Auckland area for over 18 years and has developed a reputation for quality work and attention to detail in all areas of our work.

Your primary area will be running the Home Staging operation from quoting to installation, so a key person for our small team. 

You must be hard working, self motivated and eager to learn. Passionate for all things design, talented at styling, working with fabrics and accessories and you must be able to undertake physical hard work. Computer skills also paramount.

 As the face of Sojo Home Staging you must have excellent communication skills, and a bubbly personality.     

      

 

 

 

Job tasks and responsibilities

Home Staging - you will meet clients and real estate agents for quoting on site,  hand pick and pack all inventory in our warehouse for each job, seeing this through to completion of installation on site with the assistance of professional movers, so there are physical requirements with this position. Someone who is confident and has excellent communication skills face to face and over the phone. Up to date computer skills, willingness to learn. Admin role/Sending quotes and documents, liaising with clients alike. Updating website/ social media/drafting newsletters/presentations. Must be able to work under pressure to deadlines and be self motivated as there is much freedom in the role .

Interior Design -  As a design assistant working alongside the lead designer in various roles as and when required, putting together documents for presentation, dealing direct with clients & suppliers, updating website/social media platforms, so computer skills essential.

 

 

Skills and experience

Relevant industry qualifications

Experience in Home Staging / Interior Design industry

Enjoy a broad role of varied responsibilities  

Strong verbal and written communication essential, also excellent computer skills with attention to detail 

Able to work self directed and motivated, be reliable friendly and driven,
