Human Resources Coordinator

Naumi Auckland Airport is in search of Human Resources Coordinator to join a new small but dynamic HR team!  Now is a great time to join our hotel and continue to develop your career in HR.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager - NZ  you will provide effective HR administration for the Hotel's HR department.  You will be outgoing, have a passion for human resources and be totally committed to providing excellent customer service to our internal customers.  Ideally you will be a qualified HR practitioner or studying towards your HR diploma/degree.

Your part to play!

  • Prepare HR related documentation 
  • Assist with managing and coordinating recruitment processes
  • Assist with employee rewards and recognition
  • Maintain employee files and keep filing up-to-date
  • Enter new employee details into pay system and keep online records up-to-date
  • Manage the weekly payroll ensuring our team is paid on time and correctly
  • Assist with new employee inductions
  • Assist with Health and Safety meetings, minutes and risk management
  • Coordinate and assist with with incident investigations
  • Update policies and procedures as agreed/approved by the Human Resources Manager - NZ
  • Assist with employee termination process
  • Organise training as appropriate and manage  the Learning and Development database
  • HR projects as required throughout the year

Our ideal candidate will also have . . .

  • Experience in a similar role preferred
  • Good relationship building skills and a high level of confidentiality
  • Good understanding of Employment & Payroll Legislation (or a willingness to learn)
  • Well-developed organisational and administrative skills
  • A high level of computer literacy and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritising skills
  • A flexible and creative approach to problem solving
  • Initiative and drive to see work carried through to a conclusion
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-moving, multi-tasking and multi-cultural environment
  • A relevant qualification is preferred
