Inventory Co-ordinator

EastPack is the kiwifruit industry's leading grower-owned post-harvest operator with facilities in six locations in the Bay of Plenty.

We have a permanent opportunity at our Washer Road Site in Te Puke for an Inventory Co-ordinator.

This role is responsible for co-ordinating inventory and further work and assisting with daily staff planning to ensure throughput is maximised with accurate data that matches the finished product and complies with inventory rules and market restrictions.

It plays a crucial role in maximising grower returns through meeting our production plans, so it requires someone who understands the complete value stream.

The successful person will need to have:

  • A high level of computer literacy and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • The ability to problem solve and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A good understanding of inventory management metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey essential information quickly and accurately.
  • Experience in the kiwifruit industry would be an advantage but is not essential.

You'll also need to enjoy working in a fast paced environment however can also be flexible with the highs and lows of seasonal work (which will include shift work and weekends at times).

As this is a permanent position, you will need to be eligible to work in New Zealand on a permanent basis or indefinitely.
