The Opportunity

Our successful Sales Team is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual to ensure the continued success and profitable growth of the retail market in New Zealand. As a natural relationship builder, our expectation is that you will work efficiently and productively with our existing customer base as well as introduce our business to new customers. You will primarily be responsible for the management and growth of our leading paint brands (Wattyl, Taubmans and Valspar) within New Zealand's largest hardware retailers, along with:

  • Managing the executional delivery of new products and promotional activities - being passionate about our brands and what they can do for both customers and consumers!
  • Monitoring competitor activity and providing market intelligence

About You

You will have demonstrated experience in successfully managing a sales territory along with extensive experience selling in a retail environment. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, ambitious and genuinely passionate about growing business in partnership with our customers.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Well-developed business and sales planning skills
  • Be a self-starter with a high level of integrity and negotiation skills
  • Strong communication, relationship building, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Be resilient, persistent and able to rebound quickly after setbacks
  • Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
  • Customer- centric mindset
