Events and Activations Producer

We have a unique and exciting opportunity for a talented Event Producer to bring Bauer Media’s growing programme of Events and Activations to life.

Bauer Media Group, best known as the media owner responsible for the huge portfolio of magazine brands within the New Zealand market (Fashion Quarterly, NADIA, Metro, Woman’s Day, HOME and Your Home and Garden to name a few), is no longer just a traditional magazine publisher but a multi-media company with a focus towards growth and many exciting initiatives in the pipeline.

What we need:

Sitting within Bauer Media’s award winning Media Collective, we are seeking a driven individual to produce and supervise a large portfolio of events and activations for our brands, and our client’s brands.  This is an extremely collaborative role, working with a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.

You will have an energy and passion for delivering exceptional experiences; you will be comfortable managing schedules, budgets, and a wide range internal and external stakeholders.

This role will require that you share inspiration with the team and contribute to creative sessions and the development of market-leading ideas and proactive solutions.

So, who are we looking for?

You will be self-motivated and highly organised with excellent verbal and written communication skills.  A keen eye for detail is key.

You will likely have 3-5 years’ experience in event management and a proven track record producing events diverse in size and nature.  Knowledge of the media industry is an advantage, but not a necessity.

You’ll need to have the willingness and flexibility to work outside of typical office hours at times.  In return, Bauer Media offers a vibrant, constantly varied and supportive work culture all nestled in Auckland’s City Works Depot precinct.  If this sounds like the role for you, please apply today with your CV and cover letter.
