Guest Service Agent

Novotel Rotorua Lakeside & ibis Rotorua is  located in down town Rotorua, we are a dual branded complex hotel boasting 344 rooms.

We are currently seeking a Guest Service Agent (Reception) to joing our team

Mission

The Guest Service Agent at Novotel Rotorua Lakeside & Ibis Rotorua provides attentive, courteous and efficient service to all guests during check-in throughout their stay, and at checkout,

The role requires a team player who can maintain strong working relationships while operating in a dynamic environment that requires the ability to adapt to changing priorities. You will be a results focused person who creates a positive impact by delivering consistent and high quality customer service.

Skills & Personality

  • Providing efficient service for guest registration and departure
  • Settling guest accounts and ensuring cashiering is accurate
  • Adhering to all credit procedures as they pertain to the registration and check-out process
  • Answer guest inquiries about hotel services, facilities and hours of operation in a timely manner.
  • Fulfilling guest requests

 

  • Specific Requirements
  • Ability to anticipate and satisfy customer needs and expectations
  • Excellent communication skills, speaks clearly, concisely and with poise
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Shifts vary from 6.30am to 3.00pm or 3.00pm to 11.00pm you must be available to work both mornings and nights over the 7 day a week roster.
