Integration Lead - Culture and Leadership

 

Auckland Council’s Strategy &  Capability team leads the development and implementation of our strategy and enables Auckland Council to build an organisational culture and capability that helps meet our strategic objectives.

We bring together strategic functions including corporate strategy, workforce planning, and organisational development to enable a robust connection between Our Strategy (what we want to achieve) and Our People (who bring the strategy to life).

We are looking for an exceptional Integration Lead – Culture & Leadership to join our high performing team.


He angitūtanga: The opportunity

Reporting into the Head of Strategy & Capability, you will lead the programme management and facilitate implementation of council’s Culture Plan, by ensuring the appropriate initiatives are in the programme pipeline, effective stakeholder management takes place across council, and  key initiatives are co-designed with the business units and integrated with their work.

In this critical high-profile role, you will work closely with the Strategy & Capability leadership team, and senior leaders across the business to ensure there is an integrated approach to the Culture Plan and achieve widespread buy-in and endorsement of the supporting initiatives. The outcomes of these initiatives will contribute directly to employee engagement and a high performing culture at Auckland Council.

He kōrero mōu: About you

A seasoned professional, you will have significant experience in a complex business environment in programme management and delivery, stakeholder  management and communications, and organisational culture change.

You will bring proven experience in portfolio / programme management including the design, delivery and embedding of complex people-related programmes and projects. With strong influencing skills, you will be an expert  in gaining the buy-in of your audience, from employees through to senior managers.  Politically savvy with strong organisational acumen, you'll have a confident and collaborative working style.

A strong communicator, you will have demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical engagement and communications at programme and project level, including where accountability for delivery is shared across functions.
