About the role

The role of the Regional Business Development Manager is to grow and develop the Ultraceuticals business in NZ in alignment with Ultraceuticals Brand Strategies and the Strategic Growth Plan for ANZ. 

Based in Auckland, with regular travel throughout the North and South Islands. 

Duties & responsibilities

  • Provides authentic, inspirational leadership and direction to lead, mentor and support field team members.
  • Ensures a high-level of team member customer focus, capability, engagement and productivity.
  • Plans time, researches clinics and develops detailed plan to achieve new business.
  • Canvases and acquires new business within designated area based on agreed targets.
  • Ensures Regional sales targets and Top 30 customer growth targets are met.
  • Manages the sales process end to end.  
  • Partner and build strong relationships with accounts within the Region.
  • Works in conjunction with Field Team on Top 30 account base to grow and develop accounts through sell thru of products through business partnership and events.
  • Creates, designs and plans effective events to and support clinic growth.
  • In conjunction with Account Development Managers, develops and implements 12-month Sales Plan for the region.  
  • Manages Region Educator to ensure local market Educational initiatives are in place for clinics.
  • Completes sales reporting and administration as directed by ANZ Sales and Education Director.

Skills & experience

  • Extensive State Sales Leadership experience and previous experience managing Field Sales team members in the Professional Clinic Channel preferred.
  • Clean driver’s license and fully maintained vehicle for travel.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Beauty Therapist qualification highly regarded but not essential.
