Claims Officer

This innovative NZ owned and operated travel insurance business have an advanced claims system and can offer a quicker, safer and easier claims process without the unnecessary paperwork for their customers.

The role:
  • Processing all insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner
  • End to end management of the claims process
  • Investigating and researching customer's circumstances/cases
  • Using your strong decision making skills to make sound judgments and decisions
  • Proactively assessing claims by liaising with customers and suppliers for further information
Skills and attributes required:
  • Previous insurance experience will be highly regarded
  • Medical terminology knowledge preferred
  • Excellent decision making skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong time management and the ability to manage a high volume workload
  • Ability to pick up systems fast
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
