Sales Support - FMCG

We create lots of new and innovative products for our global clients with our exciting brands such as Mother Earth, Flemings, Donovans and Alison’s Pantry.

Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager for the Auckland region, this full time (40hrs) permanent role offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to work within both our Bulk Foods/Self Selection and Grocery categories.

This role will see you:

  • Coordinating our merchandisers within the bulk foods departments in all stores
  • Ensuring our bulk food merchandisers are following deals & specials
  • Ensuring our bulk food merchandisers and managers are keeping the bulk foods departments to the high standard expected
  • building displays for our grocery products
  • coordinating merchandiser coverage for both grocery and bulk foods across all stores allocated to you
  • comply and manage within budget means
  • weekly/monthly reporting to the Territory Sales Manager
  • maintain a regular and consistent call cycle within store
  • assist your Territory Sales Manager in other store and staff requirements. This may include buyer discussions within the grocery side of the business
  • some weekend work will be required

What you’ll need in your experience and skill tool kit:

  • Have a “can do” attitude
  • Strong relationship building skills (customers and employees)
  • Essential excellent time management
  • Be prepared to get stuck in and merchandise where needed
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • A passion for new business solutions
  • Tenacity and competent negotiating ability
  • FMCG experience desired
  • Proven sales experience
