SALES REPRESENTATIVE: INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS SELLING TO MANUFACTURERS
COMPANY - INDUSTRIAL
We are a leading supplier of Industrial Textile products for a variety of applications through the Manufacturing sector including the Furniture, Window, Blind (Interior & Exterior) Awning, Marine and Transport industries
We pride ourselves on our service & technical expertise and finding the "perfect fit" for our clients.
We are currently looking to appoint an Auckland based Sales Representative to join our established New Zealand team to Account Manage client relationships (80% of the role) as well as develop New Business opportunities (20%) within existing & new accounts.
POSITION & RESPONSIBILITIES - INDUSTRIAL
Your responsibilities will include;
·The management and development of an extensive list of established Customer Accounts - utilising a structured call cycle
·The development of new sales opportunities through your existing account portfolio as well as seeking out new Clients through actively canvassing the Manufacturing sectors (blind, furniture, bedding, signage, marine and transport industries)
·Conducting sales calls and face to face meetings with key decision makers, promoting your products features and benefits and offering quality solutions
·Offering excellence in technical support & customer service
·This role is for someone who can demonstrate a proven history of Business Development - someone who is not afraid of fielding objections and is a strong closer
·You have the support of the Branch Team - Branch Manager and Internal Sales Team to achieve your goals
CANDIDATE - INDUSTRIAL
The Successful Applicant will ideally possess;
·Proven external sales experience & track record of New Business development
·Key Account Management experience & the ability to find new opportunities within existing clients by up-selling & product promotion
·Ideally a background selling to Manufacturers (marine, automotive, furniture, blind & awning)
·A background in Textiles IS NOT a Prerequisite although Preferred - proven Industrial Sales Experience is a must have
·Solid time management skills - organisational skills & the ability to work to quarterly, monthly and weekly call cycles to build your sales funnel
·Confidence in features and benefits selling
·Clear and concise communication and solid listening skills
·A person with a real focus on achieving goals and targets & loves the "Thrill of the Sale"
·An outgoing, energetic personality & good sense of humour are a MUST!!
REWARDS - INDUSTRIAL
The successful applicant will receive a Base Salary of $70-80K + (negotiable dependant on proven sales and new business development experience) + Fully Maintained Company Vehicle & a very lucrative and achievable Uncapped Commission structure based on your own Sales Achievements and New Accounts developed, this coupled with the opportunity to join a dynamic and fast growing player within the Industrial Fabrics industry and establish your Sales Career.
