About the role

Our internationally recognised construction team is involved in a wide range of construction infrastructure projects, both in New Zealand and overseas, including major transport, water and energy projects, PPP's, and commercial and residential developments. The team advises clients at every stage of the project from procurement, contract structures and risk management through contract administration, claims and dispute resolution.

This is your chance to work with industry recognised experts in a leading national team. You will work with a wide range of clients including construction companies, principals, local authorities and Government agencies.

If you have:

  • a solid grounding in construction litigation or a related specialty, ideally with 3-6 years' experience
  • developed skills in opinion writing, drafting of pleadings, client contact
  • knowledge of the Construction Contracts Act and, arbitration and court processes
  • work experience which demonstrates your initiative, commitment and drive for excellence
  • a desire to work closely with clients as one of their trusted advisors
  • the ability to contribute within a strong team environment
  • an aspiration to consolidate your career as a recognised expert in construction law
