Counties Manukau Police are looking for a keen and enthusiastic individual to join their Traffic Safety Camera Operators team based out of either the Manukau or Papakura Police Station.  The successful applicant will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Traffic Safety Camera Vans and equipment to high risk locations to assist in the detection of speeding motorists on our roads and,  in doing so will contribute through their deployments in reducing deaths and serious injuries on our roads.  The successful applicant will be provided with comprehensive training for the role.

Skills and Experience required:

You need to be comfortable around the use of technology and have the ability to deploy and operate the equipment as per policy requirements, including administration and the processing and sending of data within given time frames.

You will have the ability to work alone on a variety of early and late shifts as dictated by a roster based system. 

You will show the initiative to problem solve on your feet and to also have the capacity to identify issues for improvements in service delivery and work collaboratively within a small team environment.
