Gartshore Group is a market leading, third generation family owned bespoke joinery manufacturer and interior fit-outs business, with a customer focused culture.

They currently have an opportunity available for a dynamic Office Administrator / Receptionist to join their head office located in Tauriko, near The Crossing in Tauranga.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role encompasses the daily office administration functions and reception duties for the Gartshore Group.  You will also be responsible for assisting the Accounts Payable / Receivable Officer during busy periods and providing support and back-up for weekly payroll.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Office admin (mail, couriers, filing, typing, etc)       
  • Assisting AR/AP in busy periods to match and enter creditor invoices 
  • Maintaining fleet spreadsheet and organising RUC & registration        
  • Timesheet coding into accounting system  
  • Issuing credit card statements and coding into accounting system       
  • Vehicle lease applications     
  • Motor vehicle insurance renewals    
  • Mobile phone set-up and IT queries 
  • Booking flights and accommodation
  • Updating LinkedIn and Gartshore Webpage
  • Support and Backup for Payroll
  • Answering and redirecting phone calls and meeting and greeting visitors
  • Meetings and functions set up

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 4+ years experience in a similar office administration role
  • Advanced Excel and Word skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Experience with Payroll and Accounts would be an advantage
  • Ideally some experience with social media and websites
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organising abilities
  • A can-do attitude and excellent work ethic
  • Well presented with a friendly and professional manner
