NZ Branch Manager (Multinational Company)

Branch Manager 

Biesse Group is a global leader in technology, manufacturing machines and components for processing wood, glass, stone, plastic and metal product industry.

Biesse Group is a multinational Company and the New Zealand division needs a leader to join the team in the role of a Branch Manager.

The NZ Branch Manager will be reporting into Biesse Oceania's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) based in Sydney Australia.

The role.

  • Oversee all operations and business activities to ensure all teams produce the desired results and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission
  • Monitor and evaluate performance of New Zealand against objectives and strategies
  • Prepare and oversee reports, budgets, business plans and forecasts including P&L responsibility
  • Develop, execute and oversee sales and marketing strategies in line with strategic objectives
  • Partner with the Oceania Sales Director to drive sales targets, co-manage sales team and drive performance
  • Partner with the Oceania Service manager to ensure customer service needs are met in line with SLA
  • Lead a team of 12 staff (sales and service) providing training, mentor-ship and day-to-day management

Your duties. 

  • Implement and execute efficient and effective processes and procedures in line with Oceania subsidiary objectives
  • Implement and provide leadership to streamline sales and service procedures
  • create budgets, forecast and cost savings and controls
  • Support HR and head office department Managers in personnel and human resource requirements
  • Ensure existing customers receive service in line with service level agreements 
  • Support Biesse Oceania with global strategies and policies for the New Zealand team;

This is a senior management role. To be successful, you will need to have strong management experience, proven sales success and a background in service delivery industries. 

Essentials. 

  • Strong understanding of Sales, Operations, Corporate finance and Performance management
  • Operation management experience essential  
  • Proven experience managing high performing teams (sales or operations)
  • Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision
  • Direct experience with diverse business functions such as Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and other operational departments
  • Background from similar service industry, (engineering/ trades or blue collar sectors desired
