Assistant Accountant - Part time (25 hours per week)

Super Liquor Holdings is New Zealand’s leading retail liquor franchise.  Founded in 1995 Super Liquor Holdings manages a retail franchise system comprising of a nationwide network of over 150 stores.

The last two years has seen transformational change for the brand, its franchisees and stakeholders. As part of the next phase of growth and development for the brand we require an Assistant Accountant to join our Support Office team.  We are a small team with an entrepreneurial culture and operate in an exciting, fast moving industry.

This is a new role, ideally suited to 5 hours across 5 days per week and will be responsible for providing a high level of financial, legal and administrative support to the Financial Controller.  Key responsibilities will be;

- Credit control
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices and payment batches
- Share Register and franchise agreement maintenance

To be successful in this role you will have;

- Previous experience in an Assistant Accountant position
- Accounting or similar qualification
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to liaise across the business along with our franchisees and suppliers
- Intermediate Excel skills and Microsoft office
