About the role

Our nationally recognised Auckland commercial property team, led by Matthew Ockleston, provides proven expertise in all aspects of property law, from acquisitions and disposals to complex development agreements and leasing arrangements, to major public infrastructure projects. Our property practice has grown considerably in recent years and we are now looking for additional outstanding talent.

The successful candidate's relevant experience and skills will include:

  • a sound knowledge of all aspects of commercial property work.
  • working within a property practice, with particular skills in:

    - commercial acquisitions, disposals and leasing

    - unit titles

    - subdivisions

    - conveyancing

    - overseas investment experience would be a real advantage.

  • a desire to work closely with clients as one of their trusted advisors.
  • the ability to contribute within a strong team environment.
  • a track record that demonstrates your initiative, commitment and drive for excellence.
  • advanced technology skills to enable you to swiftly draft and edit documents.
  • commitment and an aspiration to build a career as a recognised expert in the commercial property area.

This role will suit a highly motivated individual who takes a proactive approach, has good communication and organisation skills and a strong client focus.
