REGISTERED NURSE (Residential & Community Support Service - fixed term)

This role is for a 6 month fixed-term period, working 32 hours per week.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide clinical services to Tāngata Whaiora and oversight of non-clinical staff in recovery-focused support services in community-based housing for Tāngata Whaiora who experience mental health disorders with higher levels of acuity.

You will be part of an appropriately trained and qualified team to provide 24-hour, seven days per week support to meet Tāngata Whaiora individual needs and will deliver services that will contribute to flexible Whānau Ora outcomes.

We want you to apply if you have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Registered Nurse qualification and registered to a professional body
  • Current practicing certificate
  • Experience working in the community with Tāngata Whaiora who experience mental health disorders with high levels of acuity
  • Experience providing supervision to other nurses
  • Excellent computer skills, and be familiar with all Microsoft applications
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal
  • The ability to work under pressure in a busy and challenging environment; and
  • A full clean NZ Driver Licence.
