Distribution Administrator

Euro Corporation is a well-established and highly successful manufacturer and distributor of trade quality reinforcing ,steel and wire products for use in the rural and construction sectors. Founded over 20 years ago and still a proudly NZ owned and operated business the Euro Corporation group has over 400 employees operating in seven locations nationwide. A clear market leader we pride ourselves on offering customers a total solution tailored to any of their steel and fencing needs.

We are now looking for an experienced Warehouse / Distribution Administration to join our team. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager and is based at our East Tamaki site.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will:

  • Support and manage all day-to-day administration aspects of the Distribution centre to ensure the smooth and uninterrupted operation and resolve administration issues as required
  • Assist to organize orders for picking and dispatching within policy time-frames
  • Perform all order processing activity and documentation within company policy and timeliness guidelines
  • Assist with rolling and annual stock-takes, along with cycle counts
  • Coordinate ordering of all Distribution centre supplies/consumables (pallets, stationary, labels etc)
  • Provide advice to management on distribution operations and improvement activity
  • Promptly attend to all walk-in customer queries

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Good knowledge of how a distribution operation works
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Highest level of integrity and honesty as in a sole charge role much of the time
  • Good computer skills & experience within a distribution centre
  • Good knowledge of stock control systems
  • Good knowledge of OHS
  • Excellent customer service outlook and energy
