Team Leader - Insurance Administration

At AdviceFirst, we are here for our clients, their family or their businesses, and we can help by offering expert financial advice throughout their life. Whether it's investment, wealth management, insurance, or KiwiSaver, we have the expertise, people and resources to give people the financial advice that's needed, when its needed.

We pride ourselves on being experts, but we won't use complicated jargon. Instead, we take the time to understand exactly what our clients want, or more importantly what they need. Then we will put forward ideas and make recommendations personalised for them. No off-the-peg, one-size-fits-all, she'll-be-right.

The Role

Primarily this role is accountable for leading the day to day centralised administrative functions for our risk insurance and group insurance clients. You and the team will also support our Client Advisers nationwide by ensuring the timely and accurate processing   required. As well as having responsibility for our first contact touchpoints – 0800 number and let's talk email inbox.

While this is a people management position, you will still be someone who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and 'do the doing' as necessary. So, you will need to be a people's person with a passion for helping others realise a better financial future.

To be considered:

  • Previous experience working in an Insurance environment (Risk preferable)
  • Previous experience in leading a high performing team
  • Experience in providing customer focused administration
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service to clients
  • Demonstrate strong communication and influencing skills
  • A friendly, professional approach, with willingness to go the extra mile
  • An adaptable and agile thinker who thrives off working in a dynamic organisation
  • Eligible to work in New Zealand

The AdviceFirst remuneration package also includes an annual performance bonus, on-going development opportunities, and employee benefits.
