Warehouse Coordinator

If you are a suitably experienced Warehouse Coordinator looking for a fresh challenge working as part of a dynamic team, then we want to hear from you!
  
You
In this role, you will provide a crucial link between receipt and storage of materials for our busy operations. You have had exposure to logistics and/or warehousing or a similar role and you would like to apply your high level of initiative in an environment which requires careful planning and prioritising of your workload.  You like the idea of working in a dynamic team where you can shoulder your own responsibilities and learn from the mentorship of experienced team members.

We are located in New Plymouth with our centralised warehouse based in 
Bell Block not far from our producing assets.  New Plymouth was recently voted Best Medium-sized Town in the World by a variety of surveys. It’s a province with a great mixture of Arts, Great food and outdoor activities on our mountain or at one of our stunning beaches! The Role
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a logistics/warehousing role, or relevant qualification.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry and knowledge of drilling equipment is essential
  • Forklift operator license and Chemicals and Dangerous Goods qualification and/or experience is preferred
  • Crane Slinging and Communications qualification and experience
  • Logistics and transport administration experience an advantage
  • Current and valid NZ Driver licence
  • Proven ability to work with computerised inventory management systems.
  • Proven understanding of material management systems and standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding and practices HS&E principles.
  • Motivated, self-starting, independent individual with high level of initiative.
  • Analytical and organised
