You will join the Venture Management team and report to our General Manager of Programmes. The role is varied and ever evolving. The Venture Management team is the backbone of the Ākina Foundation, working across our portfolio of programmes to provide development support and advice to entrepreneurs and teams as they create transformational social enterprises. Venture Management is a diverse, challenging role where your commercial acumen and experience will support the creation of new ventures and business models aimed at delivering positive social and environmental change.


Our ideal candidate is experienced at coaching and advising ventures. They have the breadth and depth of commercial knowledge to recognise opportunities and risks in enterprises, and can support them to navigate through a range of complex challenges, as well as strong experience and understanding in the unique challenges social enterprises face.


Great communication skills will serve you well, as this role involves facilitating group sessions and presenting . Most importantly, you must genuinely believe in the vision of Ākina and authentically want to contribute to the pursuit of our goals.
