Medical Laboratory Scientist - Haematology Specialist

Pathlab Whakatane is a provider of high quality, efficient and progressive medical laboratory diagnostic services. We are locally owned by New Zealand Pathologists who practise in our laboratories and are quality and people focused, helping approximately 500 patients per day in the Whakatane area.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, qualified and New Zealand registered Scientist to join the Pathlab team. You will be working across all medical laboratory disciplines in our progressive 24/7 Core Laboratory while providing technical oversight of our Haematology section.

You will ideally have sound knowledge and experience in multiple disciplines, with Haematology as your specialty area, the ability to show initiative, willingness to work as a team and good communication skills.

You will need a good understanding of IANZ requirements, excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

You will be required to participate in a 24/7 roster, including on call roster participation.
