Product Specialist - AI and machine learning opportunity. Fantastic team!

Join an exciting venture in the Conversational Artificial Intelligence space.  What do we do? We have built New Zealand's (and soon the world's) leading conversational AI chatbot platform, and with it we deliver the markets best smart chatbots. Due to our area of focus, we're going to tick all the buzzword bingo boxes; artificial intelligence, machine learning, and NLP. What does this mean for you? Well the hype cycle is in full flow across most of these things; therefore not only do you get to build a product focused on one of the most exciting technology applications, but you'll work with some of the industry's best minds.  

We're an early stage business, we have brand name customers and a full sales pipeline.  This is the perfect time to join a well-capitalised business building something that will genuinely change the tech landscape. We have proven our business model and due to customer demand we now need to hire you, to build out our customer conversation experience. You'll join a hugely capable existing team of nine including developers, UX and Conversation designers, an existing Product Specialist, an Analyst, and the founders : CEO, CTO, COO. By the time you start we will probably have grown!

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Participating in customer workshops, gathering requirements, documenting key stages

  • Capturing and designing the conversation flows

  • Building chatbots and then of course testing that they work!

  • Create customer experiences for some of NZ's most recognisable brands and businesses

  • Support and train the chatbots

  • Supporting and enabling customers to use our bot creation tools

  • Delivery of chatbot projects

What you will be like:

  • Your background will probably be as a business analyst, technical analyst, testing analyst or related role.

  • You will have a strong affinity for the client and product centric approaches

  • You are self managing and proactive with a high level of ownership and responsibility

  • You will be a team player with values that align with ours

  • You want to take your career to the next level

This is a role for someone with 3-5 years post graduation experience. You'll need to appreciate language and speak and write english to an academic level. Leave your boring corporate gig or existing contract to join us.
