Intensive Service Coordinator

Location:  Cambridge and Hamilton

We are seeking candidates who:

  • Have strong people leadership/management experience.
  • Demonstrate strong integrity, resilience and safety awareness
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Possess skills and experience relevant to working in a challenging environment
  • Demonstrate the ability to follow clear direction and work under pressure
  • Have a passion for helping people who have a disability
  • Have a good standard of computer literacy
  • Are good role models within their community

     

To be eligible for this position you need to:

  • Hold a current, full, clean New Zealand or international driver licence (must be able to drive a manual vehicle as a requirement for this position).
  • Be a New Zealand or Australian Citizen or NZ Permanent Resident. 
  • Be able to satisfactorily pass Police & CYF checks.
  • Have the ability to satisfactorily pass a full drug test and medical assessment

Community Living provide a range of services within the disability sector. The role of an Intensive Service Coordinator is to lead and manage a few of our RIDSAS services which provides support for intellectually disabled people who have high and complex needs, some of whom have been court ordered under the Intellectual Disability Compulsory Care & Rehabilitation (IDCC&R) Act 2003.

This experienced people leader/manager would join us in a full time position to lead and manage a team of specialist support staff to deliver quality supports within a secure facility.
